SKBD offers more than 20 clubs and after school activities. As the School aspires to see its students develop into well-balanced individuals, active involvement of the students in the clubs and after school activities is highly encouraged.

Clubs and after-school activities not only enable the students to learn many useful life skills like leadership and teamwork but also help to build up character through challenges and perseverance. Sports also provide the students a form of relaxation while keeping them healthy.

CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES FOR ALL STUDENTS (OPTIONAL)

Sports and Clubs organised by PIBG

SKBD together with the PIBG have planned a number of initiatives with the objectives of
(1) encouraging students to include sports as part of their lifestyle, and
(2) providing greater opportunities for students with talents to excel.

The Sports Bureau of PIBG provides activities most afternoons as well as weekends.

In addition to the school's co-curricular activities, the PIBG also organises the following weekly Sports clinics and Clubs for students of all levels.

Badminton:

The badminton class, organized by the PIBG, commences this year on 11th January 2010.
Coaches are from the Michael Badminton Academy in Taman Megah.

Fees : RM40 per month for 3 months
Class Time : Thursdays, Advance 1.15-2.45pm followed by Junior 3 – 4.30pm

Chess/ASEAN CHESS ACADEMY:

SKBD’s chess club is conducted by the Asean Chess Academy.

Fees : RM187.50 for 15 sessions
Class time : Tuesdays, 1 – 2 pm

Starting date: Sunday 10th January 2010

Fees : RM90 for 3 months

1. Main soccer techniques - speed, passing, ball control, shooting
2. Improvement of balance and coordination, with/without ball
3. Speed 1v1, defending situation
4. Attacking principles, possession, transition

Drama Class:

Tahap 2 on Mondays at 1.30pm-3pm
Tahap 1 on Tuesdays at 1.30pm- 3pm.

The fee is RM250 per term
January - April (Term 1)
May-August (Term 2)
September-November (Term 3)

Term 1 shall begin this year from Monday 18th January 2010.

Monday 11th January 2010 will be registration.

Robotics workshop begins on 18th January 2010, held on Mondays from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm.

Engineer and Gamemaker workshops begin on 21st January 2010, held on Thursdays from 1 pm to 2 pm.
